Iblard Jikan – Ova from Studio Ghibli

イバラード時間 Ibarādo Jikan, translated as Iblard Time,  is a short film (OVA) produced by Studio Ghibli. Even though it was released in 2007, I happened to find out about its existence not too long ago, but I was fascinated by the details and the colors of the landscapes. Although there isn´t a narrative story throughout the OVA, the entire 30 minute film shows just an amazing artwork.

The OVA was directed by Japanese artist Naohisa Inoue, who actually depicted through these paintings the story of this imaginary world Iblard. The music was composed by Kiyonori Matsuo.

Studio Ghibli, they never disappoint.
